Orchid Cards

I've been making orchid flowers with a couple of different orchid dies as well as creating different backgrounds using some of my older stencils with ink pads and sponges.

This first card was made for Kaaren at FATCATS card corner

The same orchid die was used for this one as well, the corners were done with a Marianne Designer stencil EE3441, which I embossed and then sponged over with ink while still in the stencil.
The Happy Birthday is from the Impression Obsession Sentiments die set.

This last one uses the branch from the he Marianne Collectibles Orchid die and stamp set.
but the flowers are from the Dee's Distinctively die set.
The stencil used was the Marianne Design EE3404
Butterflies are a Martha Stewart punch.
Stamp is Lily of the Valley

Thanks for stopping by I really appreciate you taking the time.

Dahlia fold Baby Dress

A group I belong to, PENNY FLOWERS - Craft & Chat was having a Baby Dress Card Challenge, I decided to go with a Christening type dress, after seeing this Image.

I  first drew a dress template, then cut it from some plain vellum, I then used a 1" circle  punch to cut some circles for the dahlia fold from some patterned vellum, after folding them, I glued them to the dress cutout with some Aileen' fast grab tacky glue, I put the glue only on the tips of the dahlia fold.
The butterflies a Martha Steward punch and roses are also made from some pink vellum and I used the Joy Crafts Roll up roses die to make them.
Leaves are the Sue Wilson Delicate Fronds.
The border is the Cheery Lynn Anastasia die.
