Great horny toads

We have three 60th Birthdays in the family all within the next six weeks.
This is the second one I've made and its going to my BIL.
I downloaded a colouring page of Yosemite Sam from the Internet and coloured him with copics then cut him out with a nestability circle using the out of the frame method on his guns.
Next I have distressed the spotted layers and the orange layer which was embossed with the spots and Dots cuttlebug embossing folder.
Added some eyelets  on some of the dotted paper and the words were computer generated.

Purple and Black

Lots of die cutting on my card I'm sharing today.

The bird cage is a Marianne Creatable which you can purchase here.
The filigree birds that the cage is hanging from is also a Marianne Creatable called Folklore Birds I got it here.
I cut both of them from a glittery black card stock and gave them a bit of shaping so that they didn't just sit flat on the card.
The leaves are also a Creatable and available here I have cut off the top bit.
The roses I made using this punch and the butterfly is a siizix die which I have cut from the background paper and I sponged some Memento Grape Jelly ink around the edges the same as I have done for the background layer.

Button flower

I just have a very plain and simple card today.
I cut and embossed the top layer with the Marianne Creatables cut and emboss Frame folder, and then added some liquid pearls to the little raised dots of the half flowers.
The flower was made with the Marianne Creatables Rose and leaf die. Both products are available from FatCatsCardCorner
Happy Birthday was stamped, and heat embossed with Green pearl embossing powder.

Nellie

I love these little girl digital stamps that you can get from Sugar Nellie Stamps.
I have coloured her with copics, here are the colours I have used....Hair, E57,E50,E31.
Skin, E000,E00,E02 and Ribbon and dress, BV00,V12, and BV02.
I've cut her out with Spellbinders Labels 2 and added the Labels 2 Rhinestone bling.
The design above and below the labels layer is a Marianne Creatables Folklore Bird Die.
The Hydrangea is one I made.

I am entering this card into my very first challenge at the Sugar Bowl (actually this is my very first Blog challenge entry)
where you are asked to make a card with the sketch below and an optional theme of Birthdays.

Luka

Happy weekend everyone.
I've managed to finish this card.Luka with coloured with copics and I'm sorry I accidently thrown away the piece of paper I had written on with the numbers of the colours I used.
I gave his jacket some texture by dabbing it with a piece of fabric soaked with the colourless blender.
The hills and clouds background I did with Memento inks and a sponge dauber.
The fence is a stick on adhesive roll. The border is from the Martha Steward combo set Cherish.
The leaves I received in an embellishment swap and I thought they looked like corn stalks so that's what I made them to be. Hubby said shouldn't they be yellow? yes they probably should but I wanted them to blend in with Lukas truck.

Birds and flowers 2

I've created this card using several Marianne Creatable Cutting dies which you can get from FatCatsCardCorner.
The bird cage I gave some shaping to so it didn't just sit flat on the card, I also rubbed a bit of  metallic rub on
with my finger to give it a bit of an aged look (not sure that worked :)) ).
The birds I have coloured with prisma pencils and used tiny black pearls for the eyes.
The large flowers I made with the Rose and leaf die set and the leaves were cut with the Sizzix Flowers, Branches and Leaves set.
The brick wall is background is an embossing folder called Bricked from Sizzix.

Begonias

The flowers on these cards I made from Susan Tierney Cockburns Book Paper Bouquet and they are Begonias. I have placed them onto a mat cut with the Dies Direct French Flair stacker dies.
The swirls on the pink and cream card are little dots of  glitter dimensional paint that I placed on by dipping the end of an embossing tool into a little puddle of the glitter.

Wedding Anniversary

Both our daughter celebrate their Wedding Anniversaries in May and these are the cards I made for them.

Some simple paper tolled roses placed onto the Dies Direct Lattice 2 Die. The butterflies are from a Martha Stewart punch, punched with plain white paper I then sponged some Victorian velvet distress ink over them.

I have used the same lattice die placed over a background I made by stamping some small acrylic stamps coloured with copics and then embossed with the Crafts Concepts embossing folder which I then ran through the cuttlebug again without the folder to flatten it out a bit.
The butterflies on both cards are a Martha Stewart punch.

Shark

Good Monday Morning.

I was asked to make a card for a little boy (5) who absolutely  loves sharks, so much s,o that when he hears of a shark attack his first response is "I hope the sharks alright".
Anyway this is the card I came up with.
I found a picture of a shark printed it out several times and Paper tolled it.
The waves I made using a score board that had scallops on it, I sponged some darker blue ink onto each layer and then layered them with dimensional tape.
The seagulls are made with a heart punch,by punching and then punching only the very tops again.
Oh and the letters are also cut from the same shark picture using the typewriter Cuttlebug alphabet  Die set.
