Hat Pin cross stitch

I loved the idea of the hat pin for this piece, giving it some dimension.

Cross stitch cats

I stitched these cats for my sister in law
and when she and her husband built their new home she had them re-framed professionally, doesn't it make a huge difference.

I'm afraid it's very difficult to take a photograph without the light reflecting off the glass.

There is something in your Hair

Another one of the crafts I really enjoy doing is counted Cross Stitch.
I prefer doing the larger designs although I have done many small ones to put on cards.
I did this one for my youngest daughter's birthday, every time I saw the design it reminded me of her so I just had to do it.

Tilda in Rainbow Coat

I love these cute little girls and coloured this one with my copic markers, I need lots and lots of practice colouring with them but am quite pleased how she turned out.
I made the fence with the Martha Stewart deep border punch Garden Trellis and then added some flowers I learned to make from a very dear friend.
I am so very new to the blogging world and I have to say I am a little overawed by it all, but here I am giving it a go.

I have no idea what I am doing but I'm sure I'll slowly (very slowly) work it out.
