Birthday Cards

Hello Everyone, It's been a while, since my last post, we went a way for a couple of weeks to spend some much needed family time with children and grandchildren, plus my husband bought me a new sewing machine which I've been having fun playing with.
I have still been making cards for Fat Cats CardCorner's design team which you can see HERE.
As well as cards needed for family and friends.

This one below is one I made for our 17 year old grand daughter Chloe, the image is A New Canvas by Saturated Canary and I've coloured it with copics, the puppy is from the Impression obsession Puppies die set and is coloured to look like Chloe s King Charles Cavalier koda.
The borders are the Joy Crafts Scallop Lattice Border Die.

This next one is one I did for brother in law Bruce who makes amazing cabinetry and other things for their home, thus the Handy man image from Karen's doodles, the image had a plaid shirt but I took those lines out and coloured it with copics. The embossing folder I used is the Sizzix - woodgrain, I embossed it on core cardstock and lightly sanded it.

And this last one went to my Godson Callam in his favourite football teams colours.

Thank you so much for stopping by and taking the time to leave a comment,

Vintage Mirror and Daisy's

I love the Vintage Mirror die set from Marianne Creatables and have three cards to share with you using that die. as usual I will list the other dies used below each card.

The flowers I made with the Tattered Lace Beautiful Blooms
The leaves are from the  Memory Box Fabulous Phlox Die.

For my step card I used the Crafts Too die set.

This card I did in Christmas colours for a magazine ad.

And now for another Daisy card using the Dee's Distinctively Flower 1 Die and also the Dee's Distinctiely Stem Die
the Joy Crafts 10 petal Flower Die.

Some cards to share..............

Here I am............sharing some cards made for Fat Cats Card Corner.

For the card above I cut a circle wreath using two Spellbinders circle dies then hooked the lovely Poppy Stamps Luxe Poinsettia small die all around, before I did that I edged the poinsettia cut outs with a gold leafing pen, which I also used on the edges of the white card.

For the candle card I created the white background by spreading on some Aleene's Glitter Snow and then bounced a wet wipe over it to spread it around and to give it more texture.
The dies used were the...

And for this one I've used the...
The daisy's are Dee's Distinctively flower 2
The sentiment (lily of the Valley) has been stamped on spellbinders Decorative Labels 8
and the butterflies are a Martha Stewart Punch.

50th Wedding Anniversary

Being married for 50 years is such an achievement, especially in this day and age where couples seem to tire (fall out of love) of each other so quickly, so when I was asked to make a Bookatrix card to celebrate that milestone, I was more than happy to do it.

The embossing folder I used is the Crafts Too Lattice folder.
The flowers were made with the Cheery Lynn Medium Tea Rose Die
The names were cut with the Memory box Typewriter Upper and Lower case Dies.
Hearts are Spellbinders Classic Hearts Die.

And here it is in it's box
